Update from Direct Power…

Corona Virus and the Energy Markets: At the time of writing this, the UK is entering uncharted waters as lock-down has brought with it massive implications for all of us. We are all in this together, we all have a part to play. Whether it be simply staying home, or for the heroes among us, serving on the front lines of this battle in the hospitals throughout the land. As a nation, in fact as a global community, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to the workers who are putting themselves in harms way to limit the damage caused by Corona Virus Crisis. We salute you. It is the worst of times, but it is also an opportunity to celebrate the best of humanity. Thank you.

At Direct Power we realise that you all have other pressing priorities to deal with. We are used to working remotely, and will be on hand as best we can during this crisis to assist you with any and all energy related issues. Obviously the situation is dynamic, along with the suppliers we collaborate with, we will endeavour to continue servicing your account to the best of our abilities. Please bear with us until things return to normal. Response times may be slower than usual, but together we can get through this!

Perhaps one of the few good things to emerge from this crisis is falling commodity costs. Obviously demand is down, and so are prices. If you are in need of a ray of sunshine during these dark days, consider renewing your organisations energy contract. Both Direct Power and the many Suppliers we work alongside are helping customers lock in massive savings. We have a small window of opportunity, prices are down and on the whole Suppliers are still able to offer prices and process contracts. But this will be disrupted as the crisis unfurls and normal working routines are disrupted. So don’t put this off, you can lock in amazing rates and help your organisation get back on its feet once the lock-down is lifted. It might not be a Corona Virus cure, but it could help ease your organisations energy spend for years to come.

At this time we aim to stay home, stay well, and help one another as best week can. We hope the same for you all!
